(1) A person who has qualified to be registered as an advocate under this Act may apply to the Council in the format prescribed by the Council for becoming a legal practitioner.
(2) If the person making the application according to sub-section (1) is found to be qualified as a legal practitioner, the council will register such Nepali citizen as a legal practitioner and issue a certificate of legal practitioner in the prescribed format and will also inform the Supreme Court.
